It has been a while, but here is my latest costumes which I made for Halloween.
's Venice carnival outfit
, I used a 1770 coat pattern which I altered a little to make it more comfortable. The breeches are a very altered Renaissance pattern to make it tighter around the knees and legs. The hat was embellished with trims and gold fabric.
To be honest, he picked the mask and asked me to make a costume which would go with it!! >.<
I am quite pleased with how it turned out. He looked quite dashing.
For myself, I went for a younger and sexier version of Cruella D'Evil
. Zebra prints all the way! The coat is suede lined with zebra satin and the skirt is a fake fur with a tulle shaping underneath. The wig was quite fun to wear but sooo hot!
The makeup added a lot to the overall impact of the costume. (Thank you Orphee <3 )
