Japanese style skirt by Zulma-san Japanese style skirt by Zulma-san
So after I made the coat, I decided to make a matching skirt to go with it. I used a simplicity pattern for petticoats. ^.^
It was tricky because I was low in some of the fabric and yet I wanted to keep that gradient.
Instead of having the blue going towards the orange/yellow in a vertical way, it is horizontal (from back to front).

I hope you like it. Feel free to comment. I  comments.

Here is the coat: [link]

This is beautiful! I love the coat as well, but for some reason the skirt really strikes me! I don't wear skirts really, but I'd totally wear this one. All the time. In pattern-y glory. :iconlalalaplz:

Thank you so very much. I'm glad you think so. It took me a while to combine pattern and my left over fabrics in order to create something balanced. ^.^

Ahahaha this is so funny!!!
I'll keep that one! In pattern-y glory and fabric-is sanctis! XD

Thank you very much for the favorite.
So I actually used a lingerie pattern! XD Simplicity 5006 which I changed a little to add more color to it. ^.^
Good luck on making one and send me a link to it once it's done, I'd love to see it! ^.^

I will have to keep an eye out for that pattern then! Though it might be a while until I get around to making it sadly. *sighs* I will be sure to send you a link once it is completed however!

Yes the pattern is quite simple and the fabric is what gives it its personality.
